So I picked up Neven from school today and the techer told me he is such a delight!!! She couln't understand how the teacher had problems with him at his other school. I was talking with her telling her everything that was going on with the other school and things that had happned and she was shocked! She said that Neven is such a good example to the other kids because of how polite he is always saying thank you and excuse me and she was glad to see how much he LOVES books, he is even starting to read some words on his own and can spell words already! I'm so glad that he is doing so well!!! The teacher at his old school can F-off!!!! It really is so great to know how well he is doing in his new school! I'm so relieved to know that it was the enviornment he was in! a full week and no bad behaivors at school, no whinning, no problems at all!!!! I'm just so happy and relieved, I can't even express how happy I am!!!! since he was so good this week we even stopped at McD's on the way home and I bought him a milkshake as a treat fo being so good!
Everything else is going well, Still working on the wallpaper in the dining room, but I think I will make my goal of getting it done by the weekend of Neven's birthday!!! I finished the huge wall this week and now I just have 2 little walls to get done, Next we just have to pick a color to paint! After the dining room is done its up to Zane's bedroom to finish that up!! It feels so good to be able to get rid of all this ulgy wallpaper and decorate my house the way I want it decorated!!! Over spring the I am really hoping to get the sunroom finished up! I can't wait to get the wood floors in there and a pellet stove! then we can finally use that room indtead of just storing all sorts of crap in there... guess my husband will have to find a new home for the weights and weight benches he never uses LOL. I also can't wait to get my garden going!!!! I learned how to grow celery from a stalk of celery you bought in the grocery store! so I'm also going to try growing my own celery this year on top of all the other fruit/veg plants. Plus we need to build a bigger chicken coop this year. We are going to put windows on this one so that even over winter the kids can look into the coop and see the chickens, my grandparents gave us 4 old windows so that what we are using them for, they aren't windows that would open or anything. just a window to let us look into the coop and give the chickens some sunlight and extra warmth. I love having chickens, I am hoping to get 3 more chicks over spring as well I'd like to have 5 hens all togerther, right now we have 3. The kids love them! they love helping me with them too, they help me feed them and when I clean out their old bedding the boys like helping me put the new bedding in the nesting boxes. Its awesome how they help me out with stuff like that already. Zane loves feeding the cat in the moring too, I give him the can of cat food and he takes it on the pourch and puts it down for her then he will stand there and pet her for a while but he gets so excited to help its so cute! I love little things like that, thats what makes being a mommy the best thing in the world! Seeing the excitment and joy in their faces over really small things!!!
I really can't wait till July to have the baby and get to see the boys with the baby!! I get to find out if the baby is a boy or girl in March I am so excited !!!!! Neven is convined it is a girl there is no telling him otherwise!! Maybe he knows something we dont!! I guess we will see in March!
So does anyone have any V-day ideas, things to do with kids, this is the 1st year that my husband and I have the whole day together we both have off of work for the 1st time and I want to do something special we will have the kids with us the whole day as well since its a weekday and everyone works and we can NEVER find a babysitter. So if you read this let me know your plans and some ideas, thanks a lot :)
